Wayk Den

Description

 

Wayk Den is a cloud service hosted by Devolutions on Microsoft Azure. It facilitates peer-to-peer connectivity between Wayk Now instances on any network: local or over the Internet. Wayk Den automatically handles all the network routing so the user does not have to.

There is no listing functionality offered in Wayk Den. No one can see which machines are connected in Wayk Den. You must have the IP address or 6-digit ID to connect to another computer.

 

Procedure

 

When Wayk Now is launched, it is automatically getting ready to establish a connection.

Once Wayk Now is ready to establish a connection, Wayk Den assigns a unique 6-digit ID to identify the machine.

If all the possible number combinations have been exhausted, Wayk Den automatically detects the issue and assigns a 9-digit ID instead.

 

The ID appears in the Source ID combo box.

Then, enter the Source ID of the remote computer in the Target ID combo box to connect.

All spaces are trimmed in the Target ID combo box so it will ignore extra spaces.

 

Source Port Configuration

 

If you do not wish to use Wayk Den, you can configure port forwarding by following the steps described in the Source Port Configuration section.
