Secure Remote Delegation

Secure Remote Delegation (SRD) is the method used for system authentication in the case of unattended remote access. On Windows, remote access is restricted to members of the built-in Administrators or Remote Desktop Users groups.

Secure Remote Delegation is currently only available with the Windows unattended mode.

For more information, please consult the Unattended Access section.

If you would like to learn more about Secure Remote Delegation (SRD) authentication, feel free to consult the open source code and protocol specification available in the Devolutions github repository. We designed Secure Remote Delegation internally to provide enhanced security when sending complete user credentials to a remote system.

1. Enter the remote computer username and password.
